| Description | Westmount Energy Ltd. is a Jersey registered, AIM listed, energy investment company with a focus on value creation for shareholders via exposure to high impact exploration and appraisal drilling programs primarily in the Guyana-Suriname Basin, offshore Guyana and the Orange Basin, offshore Namibia. Our strategy has been to invest in resource companies with direct or indirect licence interests, and 3D seismic matured prospect inventories, in these emerging, prolific, hydrocarbon provinces. An ExxonMobil led consortium have discovered >11 Bn BOE of recoverable resources to date offshore Guyana, with more than 30 discoveries reported since 2015. With respect to the Orange Basin, Namibia, 9 discoveries have been reported since early 2022 and estimates by NAMCOR, Namibias state oil company, indicate that 11 Bn BBls of oil in place and 9 TCF of associated gas has been discovered to date. Westmount offers highly leveraged exposure to exploration programs on the Canje, Kaieteur and Orinduik Blocks, offshore Guyana and to the ongoing exploration and appraisal programs on Blocks 2913B and 2912, offshore Namibia.
